Marvel Studios' Louis D'Esposito Confirms New MARVEL: ONE-SHOT

If you watched the Iron Man 3 U.S. premiere last night, lots of stars walked the red carpet and some fun but not necessarily informative interviews were conducted with familiar Marvel faces. However, details about a new Marvel: One-Shot starring a strong female character were confirmed.

Recently, Hayley Atwell made a cryptic statement that led many to speculate that a new Marvel One-Shot, focusing on Peggy Carter was on the way. At the Iron Man 3 premiere, Marvel Studios co-President Louis D'Esposito confirmed the rumors, stating that he just directed a new One-Shot focusing on a strong female and that it would be premiering at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. D'Esposito previously directed the Item 47 One-Shot that accompanied the release of The Avengers blu-ray. Atwell previously hinted that the One-Shot would give the actress the opportunity to show off what Peggy was 'truly capable of.'

Atwell will also be seen in the 2014 release, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Deleted scenes from Marvel's The Avengers revealed that her character is still alive in present-day. In the comics, Peggy Carter is Agent 13's (Emily VanCAmp) aunt.

Yes! I love those little Short films. They should bring them all out on Dvd & Blu-ray alone when they're finished. And they should include more actual Superheroes in them

Are they going to attempt to make her look older in the present day or will it be set after Cap's frozen in the Arctic I wonder. Or even before that...

ya know, because they failed to show what she was "really capable of" in the movie she was ALREADY IN... same with Cap, Bucky and The Howling Commandos. TFA did not do Cap justice in my opinion. TWS will rock your brain tho!

Would be great if she is in the movie and The Howling Commandos are featured as well. The only thing I didn't like about FA was that they did a montage with them.
