For the video game, an official website has been launched and those images that leaked out a few weeks back are now online for all to view. You can check them out on www.PacificRimGame.com. As for the game itself, it's being made by the Japanese video game company, Yuke's or YUKE's Future Media Creators. The company has previously served as the behind-the-scenes brain trust on the video game tie-in for Real Steel, as well as games for WWE SmackDown® vs. Raw® 2011 and a few other titles. All their work has been released cross-platform, on the X Box 360, PS3 and sometimes the Wii U so expect the Pacific Rim tie-in game to do so as well.

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

This guy would have been the perfect Rhodey if he didn't look so tall next to RDJ.
This guy is an amazing actor and I'm looking forward to this movie...the game looks allright.

Glad they made it a fighting game adaptation. It will probably still suck, but at least there is less of a chance of the game sucking since it's a simple fighting game.

Why do movies seem to think names will change drastically in the not-too-distant-future?
