@CarlXV - Nobody cares about your list. You'll be stupid enough not to buy MoS anyway. So relax. ;)

@Minotauro, thanks for caring enough about it to write me a reply ;)

MoS, still on the list, I might be stupid enough not to buy it, if the movie sucks, hard to tell since it's not even done yet.

"Was Iron Man 3 THAT bad ?"

In my opinion OrgasmicPotatoe, no it was not that bad. I thought it was a good movie and after certain events happened during the tragic Boston bombings earlier this year, I appreciate the Mandarin reveal even more than I did the first time.

If you like action comedies, and you aren't a stickler for comic book canon, then Iron Man 3 is sure to appeal to you.

I'm probably in the minority, but I like comic book movies that take themselves extremely seriously. Further more, Tony Stark's humor is much more interesting when it's contrasted with a serious and threatening situation. That same sense of humor in a comedy like Iron Man 3 just isn't as compelling.

Bottom line is that Iron Man 3 is essentially a remake of the movie "The Incredibles" but without the family dynamic that is the heart of that film.

"If you like action comedies, and you aren't a stickler for comic book canon, then Iron Man 3 is sure to appeal to you. "

Movies that take risks, that are even willing to alienate it's own audience also appeal to me. It's perhaps the most ballsy comic book movie I've ever seen.

Iron Man 3 was decent at best, and that really sucks because the first Iron Man really brought me into the world of comic books again. IM2 was worse than IM3 though.

My 3 friends who saw IM3 with me were also disappointed in it, except one, who doesn't know as much about comics as the other 2.

100% agree. im3 was awesome and easily had the biggest character development jump for stark. thought it was a great ending to his beginning.

If you liked the Extremis Story from the comics then Iron Man 3 was great. If you expected a Manderian vs Iron Man battle even though that would have nothing to do with Extremis then you will be disappointed.

Never read an Iron Man comic. The only thing I know of him come from these movies and EMH. So I didn't know much about Mandarin other than he was one of Tonys main villains. So when I saw the trailer, he looked badass and I went to the movie to that. In superhero movies I like seeing a badass villain. In this movie they gave me one and made me hate him in the end. The only way I'm getting this is with the rest of phase 2 to match my phase 1 collectors set.

I'm gonna get it and watch it second time. I liked it, ballsy move with the twist, but i'm OK with it. Killian was challenge for Tony.

I think this was perfect time to make different kind of true Tony Stark movie and not just try to follow Avengers with more actions scenes. That would have sucked more then the twist :)

Avengers 2 will be so big once again, so there have to be good personal movies/stories for these Superheros. Not just action, action, action.... you get tired for those fast.
