'TEEN WOLF' Actress Holland Roden In The Mix For MJ In 'THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN' Franchise?

"There's some rumors going around that [Sony] could possibly be going out to Holland Roden," for a role in "The Amazing Spider-Man" franchise. "Arrow's" Roy Harper was responding to a question about the "Teen Wolf" actress possibly playing Mary Jane Watson. He then added, "I don't know if it would be to replace Mary Jane, it could possibly be to play another character." Colton goes on to say that he thinks Holland would be an amazing choice to play the Spider-Man love interest but also adds that he think Shailene Woodley is "absolutely incredible."

With the role of Mary Jane Watson now being saved for the third installment of "The Amazing Spider-Man" which is set to hit US theaters on June 10, 2016, we may have a bit of a wait to see just how things will play out between Sony and Ms. Woodley. There are lots of rumors but so far, there's been no official word that the role will be recast.

In the interview with Colton, there's also a bit of "Arrow" season 2 discussion so head over to Flicks and the City to watch the video. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will open in the US on May 2, 2014.

She can't do The Amazing Spider-Man franchise. It's impossible for someone to do something DC related and Marvel related.

I actually wouldn't mind her for Mary Jane. She's a beautiful woman, looks like Mary Jane in a way (not just the red hair) and she can act.

I still don't understand why MJ won't be in TASM2. She can still have a cameo in it.

Felicia Hardy in Spider-Man 3?

Funny how Anne Hathaway was to be Black Cat in Spider-Man 4 and she became Catwoman in Dark Knight Rises

She is such a better actress than woodley is. My wife watches that secret life garbage and woodley drives me crazy in it you can tell she is just reading a script not actually acting

Holland Roden is too good for to be stuck in the thankless role of Mary Jane Watson. Besides based on Teen WOlf she seems more Liz Allen then MJ. I would love to see her as Crystal of the Inhumans or Rachel Summer's if she was a mutants.

@LEVITIKUZ You're an idiot. In case your minimalistic [frick]ing brain couldn't tell, she wasn't in Green Arrow. Try reading the article before you make a complete ass of yourself. Actually, you do that on your own all the time anyways, so it's not a big change.
