Here's a nice bit of nostalgia for all you "Batman: The Animated Series" fans out there. Voice actress Tara Strong has revealed that Batgirl will be featured in this Saturday's episode of "Beware the Batman." This would appear to be an indication that despite the fact that Batman is set to work with Katana in the cg animated series, his former sidekicks like Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl also exist and are operating somewhere in the animated world.

Episode Synopsis: Batman is hot on the heels of an extremely clever and dangerous thief named Magpie (GREY DELISLE), who not only sports razor sharp talons laced with poison and an invulnerability to pain, but she also steals the memories of her victims. But Batman is not the only one on her trail. Lieutenant James Gordon (KURTWOOD SMITH) is after her as well…and the two will ultimately go head-to-head to catch that thief.

Katana settles into her role as Bruce Wayne's new butler.

So wait.

Batman is obviously not friends with the police.

Yet she said Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing exist.

Wait what?

Love Tara Strong, and she's voiced just about every awesome female character there is at some point.

Personally, I don't mind the animation. All I care about is the story. And so far, it's not doing too bad for itself, as far as I'm concerned.

Tara Strong is crazy horny. And I'm not one to be pointing out every girl's hotness on a message board. Nothing against them that do, I just usually don't. But she be crazy horny, dog. Damn!
But... does this mean Beware the Batman is DCAU?

I'm happy to see that at least Batgirl exists in this Bat-verse. Still no sign of Robin. Are the producers surrounding Bruce with women to keep away from the whole homo-stereotype? Just pondering.

Tara is a very talented voice actress and probably one of the most popular.

Thought this show was showcasing new villians and allys, it took them one episode to go to something familiar.

I'm pretty sure she meant she's coming back as Barbara Gordon she might have just said batgirl since that is how the general public knows Barbara as. Remember in the 1st episode Bruce said he works alone as Batman due to not wanting anyone else hurt in his crusade and Gordon is still a lieutenant so I'm pretty sure this is Batman's early year as a crime fighter and she'll just make guest appearances as Barbara only.

I highly doubt she be the Batgirl persona more then likely like Micheal Holt she'll be inspire by Batman to be a vigilante in episodes down the line as the show progress.
