Batman vs Superman

This is how my story for Batman vs Superman would be. The cast is the same as that which the actual movie will have as I am happy with it.

Opening scene is in a Metropolis school which is on fire. The alarm is ringing and the children are being rushed outside when the main door catches fire and collapses. They search for another way out but the school is filling with smoke. Then the doorway is ripped open to reveal Superman standing there and then the children run out. He then runs round the school and saves the rest of the children. Once they are all outside he sees a kid in a superman t-shirt and says “nice shirt” before flying off.

News reports then show Superman’s efforts to rebuild Metropolis and how public opinion is becoming more positive towards him. Then a speech is being shown made by Lex Luthor. He says that Superman is a threat and cannot be trusted because he is more powerful than the state and has too much power for any individual. He goes on to say that his identity is unknown which means he can do what he wants and is accountable to no-one. This cuts to Bruce Wayne watching this in the Batcave, he turns to Alfred and says “It’s time for Wayne Enterprises to assist the efforts to rebuild Metropolis.” To which Alfred replies “Shall a pack your suit” and Bruce says “No, I need make a stop first.” Alfred questions whether Bruce really thinks he can take on Superman and why he needs to. Bruce replies “Luthor’s right, this Kal-El is he to no-one, I will be the man he is accountable to.”

Clark is at the farm doing the manual labour for Martha Kent. He is chopping wood (with his hands, coz he’s Superman) when he has a flash back of snapping Zod’s neck. He hits the wooden and crushes it into sawdust before falling to his knees with his head in his hands. Martha comes in and says and comforts him. Clark asks about whether he did the right thing and if he is going to have to kill to protect Earth. Martha tells him that she doesn’t know what he was supposed to have done and that there is no way of telling what he should do as no-one else has been as capable as him before.

Short flash back of Clark playing high school football and braking another boys ribs before giving up the sport. Cuts to Clark and Lois having lunch and he says “and that was the end of my football career” as she tries not to laugh. Lois asks if it could hurt Clark They talk about the Jokerz in Gotham and how they got their hands on some Kryptonian metal from one of the world engines and he tells her that he isn’t as invulnerable to materials from Krypton. She then gets a text saying that Bruce Wayne is in Metropolis holding a press conference with Lex Luthor so they both get up and go.

At the conference Lois asks Bruce what has taken him so long to respond to the situation in Metropolis. He has a flash back to fighting the Jokerz and taking the Kryptonian metal off of them before responding by saying “I have lots of responsibilities in Gotham.” (In this scene his fighting style should be pretty brutal, he should be braking arms and throwing batarangs into people.)

We see some of Superman’s training with Jor-El, he flies into space and learns to cope with no atmosphere and Jor-El teaches him to fight with Kryptonian fighting styles. (Have one particular move focused on that involves some kind of flip. I don’t know what I’m talking about.) He also tells him to draw energy from the sun so he flies near the sun to soak up the solar energy.

Next scene is at Lex Corp late at night, where an experiment is being conducted on a man. Lex explains that they are using technology salvaged from the world engine to create an energy vacuum inside this man. We also see Batman breaking into the secret facility. The procedure starts and when it finishes the man seems unaffected. But then the life is drained out of the doctors standing by and into him making him just energy in the shape of a man. This man is now Parasite, he trashes the lab and goes to search for more people although Lex escapes.

Batman arrives and looks round the empty facility and finds lots of weapons that Lex has created. Then he finds a suit of Kryptonian armour, after seeing the destruction left by Parasite and communicates with Alfred saying that it looks like Superman raided the building but he has found a this suit and will bring it back to his Metropolis base for fitting.

Superman hears screams as Parasite sucks the life out of people and flies to the rescue. He punches Parasite but his fist goes straight through him and then Parasite begins to suck energy from him. Superman becomes weak and Parasite becomes stronger before throwing Superman aside. News reports show Parasite flying around as a blur and everyone assumes that Superman has gone rogue. Batman then arrives at the site of devastation in his Kryptonian Batsuit. Superman sees the Kryptonian tech and assumes he is responsible for unleashing Parasite.

They confront each other and begin trading blows. It is evident that Superman is weak as he isn’t as powerful and can’t use his laser-vision. This and the Krptonian armour gives Batman the upper hand but then Superman starts to deploy the Kryptonian fighting techniques Jor-El has taught him to level the fight. (This fight won’t be as OTT as Man of Steel with only a little throwing each other around. It’s more like to boxers wearing each other down.) But then Batman throws a succession of flash bangs overloading Superman’s senses which he is struggling to control. He then punches him repeatedly in the face until he falls to his knees. Superman’s X-ray vision is playing up and shows some brief images of Batman’s hand breaking as well as some other broken bones. He then gives the speech from the Dark Knight Returns (You know the one I mean) but this is whilst the sun is rising and Superman says “I want you to remember this!” then picks Batman up and slams him into the ground before they both see Parasite attacking people and realize who the real enemy is.

Then occupy Parasite from a distance with the Batmobile and laser-vision. Batman says to Superman that he should use his ship that he used to destroy the world engine. They then collide it with Parasite creating an explosion and a portal opens in the sky, before the man who was Parasite is sucked in Superman rescues him. Then we see a female figure (Wonder Woman) fly out of the portal before it closes but none of the characters see this.
We then see Superman and Batman talking about working together. Maybe to form some kind of league. Batman reveals that he worked out that Superman is Clark Kent and then Superman reveals that he can see through Bruce’s cowl. Cut to a Lex Corp computer in the damaged building and one of the screens comes on and Brainiac appears on it then spreads to all the screens across the world before saying “Creatures of Earth I am the Brain-Interactive-Construct, welcome to the dawn of the future.”

I like the first scene, and the cliff hanger, leading right into JL!

I like it. I think it's good. You've used a diversity of some villains that have not been seen on the big screen before. I could see it working.

I like it, but Luthor doesn't seem to have that notable of a role in the story and the ending seems fairly rushed, especially with the final fight against Parasite.
