Who ever it was, it even knocked off his face shield, and some of his face. Megatron didn't even do that. This looks like its gonna be awesome, even cooler than the first!

I have to repeat what blacksword 7 said about Watchmen:

yes i know he was talking about Watchmen, but same principle applies to ANY movie taken from ANY other source of medium.

get over the fact that it's not exactly like the source material and just face the fact it's not the end of the world. only a movie.

I like how all off a sudden the source material was perfect. Find somewhere to download old transformers episodes from. Watch it. Then close your eyes really tight and imagine them making a live action movie exactly like that. How good of a movie would that be? Really...?

Optimus Prime doesn't have a true self, he's made up. I spent 70 bucks on the 20th anniversary Prime that looks just like the 80's cartoon and if i can admit that he's made up, everyone should. I think its safe to say that I'm the biggest transformers fan here, not only have i seen the 80's cartoon, but all the transformers series. There have been a lot of incarnations of all of he robots over the last 25 YEARS and Michael Bay's is certainly not the worse(lips and all). The 2D robot design don't work in 3 dimensions. So get over it. That's why the toys, in which the beloved 80's cartoon was made specifically to sell, wasn't EXACTLY like the robots on the show.

Good question... whatever it was, it was huge, but it looked like only 1 robot. Anybody know...?

holy shit, i am so excited for this movie. it is going to be so sick. hopefully it lives up to be just as good as the first one was.

im pretty sure Michael Bay made me shit my pants again. i actually thought that the R8 was the 2010 mustang for Barricade. I cant wait for this movie to come out. im also looking forward to see the newer body for Bumblebee. The 2010 model for the Camero also looks badass.

haha, torque spreading the word eh? God forbid someone cpould have a [frick]ing opinion on something that is different from yours! Personally i think this movie looks great but i also understand why some people wouldnt, saying something negative about a movie(when justified) doesnt make you a "hater" it just makes you thoughtful

So what if there is? What the hell is wrong with saying you dont think something looks good? I like to make fun of the pedantic fanboys sometimes aswell but at the end of the day everybody is entitled to there opinion. What annoys me is when they cant back up WHY they say something looks crap..like just saying "oh he looks different in the cartoon/comic" isnt a valid excuse for washing your hands of a movie imo. BUT in the case of both gi joe and to a lesser extend Transformers 2, i totally see why some fans would be pissed off..just because some people are happy to sit and have shit shovelled down ther throats, dont expect everyone to be.

What they dont shown any of the 12, or a human transformer. Guess they want those kept top secret.

haha, I agree with BOTH ror and torque, sometimes when a person is speaking from an uneducated standpoint, they say things that are unfounded and ignorant, they must be put into their place! but if someone has a valid reason for not liking something, I say they speak up! these comment sections are for debates and discussions, not just for mindless drones to say "this looks AWESOME". it does look good though, and thank you MoonDoggyX for sayin it, if you guys really look at the source materials, which are CARTOONS, not comics, like I said before, they're PURE CAMP, to sell toys. why would any person want to see live action versions of that?? I can agree with some visual quams, but as for being completely true to the source, you gotta hope for more!
