Understanding "The Red-Blue-Blur"

Explanation about "The Red-Blue-Blur" and how this is infact a real character in the Superman comics.

The Red-Blue-Blur is what Clark is before he becomes Superman. In the comics, Clark ran away around the world, learning about its many cultures, languages, and customs. Clark would secretly save people when he could, although he never had a costume or a superhero identity. The producers just give him a name. So you see he is just steps closer to becoming Superman. If they kept the No Tights, No flights rule, he would never be close to the Man of Steel.

lol, guys a lot of people dont like Smallville..i mean i personally think it CAN be good but at the same time is it so hard to understand how the teeny bopper elements and blatant disregard for comic continuity would alienate quite a few people?

seriously, its the only tv adaptation for a comic in prime time right now. they've done 140+ episodes, you have to take the good with the bad. and the CW is run by a woman who has stated that her target audience is females 18-35. i think its been holding its own despite the massive quantities of estrogen that surrounds the show. if you took away smallville, the reaper and supernatural your left with the Tyra channel.

I miss the old Smallville, when the Luthors were runnin' rampant. I still watch, but I enjoyed the old seasons

People love to complain and I hate to say it but Smallville is an easy target. I love Smallville. I've watched every show and it has really made me love Superman. I think its rather funny cuz Smallville has made me dislike Clark Kent but has made me love Superman.
I really miss the old school Smallville with the Luthors too. My main beef with Smallville recently (last season and this season too) is that they're trying to overcomplicate things by adding Veritas and then adding Davis to Clark's crah site. I don't mind them adding stuff like that but not all of it fits so it makes me angry. But through all of its faults I am a die hard fan for Smallvile and will continue to watch it (sigh) even next season.
(i thought that doomsday killing chloe, clark dying, then being reborn as "Superman," killing Doomsday then donning the suit would've been a perfect ending for the series... but they have too many loose ends to tye up like LexCorp, Lex, turning Jimmy back into a bimbo, and Martha Kent going back to the farm....)

i dig Smallville.
I think the acting is still cheese but Tom Welling is a darn good Clark Kent.

Yeah, i'm with you joNathan. The whole doomsday was almost too soon or too late. And Chloe decided to stay with Davis so we're on the right track.
I am anxious to see Chloe die, not in a macabre way but to hurry up the red -blue blu to the superman transition. I
