Richard Schiff does not sound very excited talking man of steel.

Richard Schiff was on the Adam Carrola podcast this morning and was asked about the Man Of Steel.
Adam: What is this Superman? Is it a new Superman? Is the actor a new superman?

Richard: Yes, he is played by Henry Cavill from England.

Adam: Is this one(film) going to be darker and edgier?

Richard: I don’t think so…. Not only is not coming out for another 18 months I have been sworn to secrecy.

Adam: Really, you can’t talk about it?

Richard: All I can tell you that Superman is in the movie and I am not playing him which is a scoop. But I had a lot of fun doing it. I can tell you that.


Honestly Richard Schiff did not sound enthusiastic what so ever. He was very tight lipped like everybody else on the cast. Interesting when asked if the film was going to be darker and edgier he said he didn’t think so. I guess that is something to think about.

i don't get why they all want other characters be like batman dark an edgy and that's not who they are. they even have this upcoming spider-man darker..............

the dark and edgy..should be for batman, punisher , stuff like that ....they just need to have a villian superman can fight ...and more saving scenes ...less lovey with lois, and less lex ....been there done that .....if they hang that aside and focus on the new ...i think it will be awesome and do well
