THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Will Shoot In New York In February; Changes Working Title
It was previously announced that The Amazing Spider-Man sequel would be shooting under the name of London Calling. Now, a new report is out saying that is has changed the filming title, and reveals when the film will be shooting in New York City.
Those looking to get a peak at the filming for Marc Webb's sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man need to be advised to a certain change. The film was going to be operating under the filming guise of London Calling. However, according to On Location Vacation the film will now be shooting under the extremely well thought out, Untitled Columbia Pictures Project. There have also been a number of signs in New York for the movie that shows it will shot in the Big Apple from February 12th until the 26th.
A casting call was sent out for the film as well. The sheet was sent out by Grant Wilfley, and is looking for various young actors for a range of parts. Check the casting call out below.

Caucasian or Latino boys, 10-16 years old, very thin, with medium or olive complexion, and dark hair. Caucasian boys, ages 9-18, very, very skinny with visible ribs, and flexible with gymnastic or contortionist ability. Email a recent picture and contact info to [email protected]. There have been no updates on what the film's actual title will be either. Although, speculate that it will be rather Spectacular. The big news hit yesterday when it was announced that Paul Giamatti was in talks for the movie to play Rhino. Filming for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is right around the corner, and is due in theaters on May 2, 2014.
