Warner Brothers To Drop SUPERMAN Best Of Television Collection In May.

i thought that heading meant that warner was dropping the release meaning it wasn't coming out at all.

as it goes i wouldn't buy anything that has got smallville or lois & clark in the set.

Grif, Warner Brothers should hire you since you know better than they do whether or not this merchandise will turn a profit.

I already have all except "Losi & Clark" (never was a fan of that show), so I'll save my $$$$.

Whenever a remake of something comes out they always put older stuff from the franchise on cheapo dvds to catch some dumbass's interest in grocery store.

What a stupid set. Nobody wants to drop the kind of money they'll ask on a teaser set.
Maybe... MAYBE a set with every series COMPLETE, but at a reasonable price. But doubt thats possible

Warner Bros is really full of the worst executives EVER.

When are they going to release the SECOND season of the Filmation SUPERMAN animated series--along with the SUPERBOY cartoons? We've been waiting years for those and all they give us are shows that have already been released!

You lot are seriously overreacting.

Its a "best of " set. Get over it. Smallville had only 3 good seasons. Lois and clark was barely tolerable for the first season.
Plus there's odd ball stuff that a casual superman fan might actually not have.

Great christmas gift.

No ones making you buy it.

Douche nozzles.

Why would I buy a collection that doesn't have the whole collection?

@ terminlvoid-

THAT is actually funny!

@xavierlehnsherr

BE...CAAAAUUUUUSSSSE...IT. IS. A. SAMPLER. PACKAGE.

for a nominal fee, you get a SAMPLE of SEVERAL incarnations of superman over 70 years.
you get to see MANY different KINDS of shows/cartoons and you are not committed to buying more of what you don't want.
say you get this set- and you LOOOOOVE the lois and clark segments- guess what? you can go and get more!
maybe you DON'T like "lois and clark" - hey, you saw enough to know you're not interested.
maybe you like "smallville", "superman doomsday" and hate george reeves.
good news!
there's MORE smallville, more feature length animated films and no ones making you buy george reeves!
maybe you always thought george reeves was cornball- but now you see it actually has a lot of charm.
guess what?
you can go and get MORE!

it. is. a. sampler.

like when you go crapplebees, and you get a platter of appetizers because your tiny mind has trouble making a decision. so you get the sampler and you realize you love mozzerella sticks but not the artichoke dip.
now you know.

besides, a complete EVERYTHING/ALL SEASON/ALL EPISODES collection would be 80 discs, 700 dollars and you'd STILL complain about buying things you might already have on dvd.
