Tao Okamoto To Play 'Mercy Graves' In BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE?
A new report seemingly confirms last night's Batman-News exclusive about Lex Luthor's hair and Holly Hunter's role in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, while also revealing that The Wolverine's Tao Okamoto will play Mercy Graves, Luthor's assistant/bodyguard.
According to ComicBook.com, their "sources" tell them that this week has indeed seen a blonde-haired Jesse Eisenberg shooting scenes at the LexCorp set in Michigan, a hairstyle which they go on to describe as, "a long straight surfer mop." As always, take this type of rumour with a pinch of salt, but the site adds that, "Our source indicated that Japanese actress Tao Okamoto is playing Lex Luthor’s assistant, who is named “Mercy.” In the comic books and Superman animated series, Mercy Graves is Lex’s personal assistant and body guard, where she is portrayed as highly intelligent and experienced in hand-to-hand combat." If The Wolverine star is indeed playing this character, it will be a nice nod to both the comics and animated series, but it was previously stated that Okamoto would be playing a newly created character, so the name could just be coincidence.
