Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson On HERCULES Vs. SUPERMAN; "I Would Whup His Ass!"

He's rumoured to be up for a role in a future DC Comics movie, but when asked how he thinks Henry Cavill's Superman would fare in a battle with his Hercules, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson claims that the Man of Steel wouldn't stand a chance. Is this a preview of Superman vs. Darkseid in Justice League?

In an interview with Digital Spy, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was asked who he believes would win in a battle between Hercules and Superman. The question came up as a result of Hercules director Brett Ratner recently stating that he used to pit the two iconic heroes against each other in comic books he created as a child. "I know Henry very well," Johnson revealed. "He's a buddy of mine. Who would win in a fight between Hercules and Superman? Just to be clear, you're talking about my Hercules against Henry's Superman? I would take my club and I would knock Superman into next week, and then I would whup his ass for leaving! That's what I would do. [Laughs]" The Rock has been rumoured to be up for a role in a future DC Comics movie, and many believe we'll see him as Darkseid in Justice League. Could this gentle ribbing be a glimpse at what's to come in that movie? We'll have to wait and see! What do you guys think?

I saw that fight, I think Bautista is too nice, it made me feel like Bautista was afraid to hurt the other guy, not a characteristic an MMA fighter should have.... Can't wait to see him in Guardians though

Not that I'm interested in the Hercules movie, but this is an interesting match up - Everyone knows Superman's powers and weaknesses, and one of his weaknesses is magic, but that's usually spells and energy and stuff. Would Hercules' strength count as magic, due to his demi-god status? And does that mean Superman would be vulnerable to Hercules' strength, or does his weakness to magic only pertain to spells/enchantments/artifacts/etc?
