Wesley Snipes Shares His Thoughts On A Possible BLADE IV Movie
Wesley Snipes (who will next be seen in The Expendables 3) reveals that he would like to make a return as Blade in a fourth movie and says that he believes that there should be more African American superheroes on the big screen. Hit the jump to check it out...
After the extremely disappointing Blade: Trinity, the franchise pretty much died out (something which wasn't helped by star Wesley Snipes spending some time behind bars). Marvel Studios regained the rights a few years back as a result, but Snipes - who is part of The Expendables 3 cast - told MTV News at this weekend's Comic-Con that he would like to jump back into the role given the chance. "I'd be open to it. I think we've got some stones left unturned and there's some latitude left for us to build on and I'd love to get back in the suit again and do some things I've learned how to do now that I didn't know how to do then. I think we're better at making that kind of a film now. Some of the things we did in the early parts of the franchise were experimental and now they've become customary in a lot of the Avengers films and other comic book adaptations." In a separate interview with EW, the actor added: "Blade chasing the Twilight kids around? Hey man, there's always a possibility, and I'm open to it. There have been rumours around that we may explore the opportunity, so give me one more shot!" How would you guys feel about Snipes making a return as Blade? Sound off with your thoughts below!
