Despite all those mentions of Ra's Al Ghul during season two of Arrow, many fans thought we would never actually get to see the well-known Batman villain in the series. Well, he's coming, as you can see from the new trailer below! We don't get to see who will be playing Ra's here and the role hasn't actually been cast as of yet according to those working on the series, but The CW have been picking some very recognisable names for these roles lately, so expect it to be a familiar face. It's an exciting time to be a fan of Arrow as a number of characters from the comic books will be making their live-action debuts this year, including the recently confirmed Wildcat! Ra's Al Ghul was last seen in Batman Begins, played by Liam Neeson. Check out the teaser below...

It's weird isn't it, his daughter called him raysh and every other person on the show is still saying raz.

Any of you guys have a link to the article with the trailer in? All I'm seeing is a post with a few quotes about him joining the series.

People calling him RAZ in the show are those who don't know him, so they don't know how to pronounce his name. Her daughter knows him (obvs ^^) so she calls him RAYESH. And the actor better not be white. Still hope it's Oded Fehr.

The name thing annoys me a little too, but meh tomato/tomato, it's not such a big deal! I'm looking forward to this season and all the awesomeness it'll bring, plus felicity gives me a nerd boner, that's like a regular boner but like, smarter and stuff.

@Sipprelle: Before you start throwing around the verbal abuse, I have no idea who deleted your article. After covering the Marvel Studios panel, I went to bed at 5.15am and woke up less than an hour ago. I never saw your article; just one with quotes from the producers which I have NOT included here even though I could have. I left them out because that article confirms he's season three's main villain and this one gives us a first look at him.

Sipprelle...
Wasn't there another article after yours that had the new extended trailer? I remember that article being deleted for being a duplicate. But that one had the trailer. Oh the irony!

@JoshWilding Sorry, I thought it was just very suspicious that right when I saw your article appear on main mine got taken down. I was being a dick.

@McGee Yeah, @MrPrime uploaded an article seprate from mine (my article was Guggenheim talking about Ra's, Prime's was with the teaser that got releeased) but after seeing my article he just said I should add the video to my original article. My article still exists, but for whatever reason (Josh let me know that he's not sure what happened) it's not on main.

@Bl00dwerK Apparently my article still exists (http://www.comicbookmovie.com/news/?a=104570) but for whatever reason it disappeared off main when Josh put up his separate article. He apparently doesn't know what happened to it, but I had actually updated my article w/ the season 3 teaser, and for whatever reason that video is no longer embedded on my original article.

Pedro Pascal would be a pretty badass Ra's Al Ghul, although he is relatively young, Liam Neeson was about 53 when he played the role; although if this Ra's has a Lazarus Pit, then that wouldn't really be much of an issue I wouldn't think. Either way I am very excited to see season 3 knowing they have a villain as huge as Ra's.

Sipprelle: Hey, it's cool - we aren't the enemy! That post was taken down temporarily because it needs to be fixed in order for it to be main-page worthy, but it's still live on the site obviously. Me or another editor will get to that ASAP. I never saw the trailer in any version of it though, so I can't explain that. If I had, I obviously wouldn't have spent the time writing this up!
