Warner Bros. Reportedly Have "Plans" For BATMAN Character HARLEY QUINN

Arrow producer Andrew Kreisberg has revealed that Harley Quinn's appearance in last season's Suicide Squad episode was a result of a compromise as he believes that Warner Bros. have plans for her elsewhere! There's no word on whether that will be in a movie or TV, but more details are here...

In a lengthy interview with Comic Book Resources, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg was quizzed on last season's appearance of the Suicide Squad and whether fans should expect Harley Quinn to make a full blown appearance after being teased in that episode. "I don't know about that," he admitted to the site, adding: "There are very few things we've asked DC Comics for that we haven't gotten. That was something you asked for, and what you saw is a compromise that Geoff Johns and I came up with. To even get that much was a thrill for us. I know that they may have other plans for her, but it was certainly an Easter egg that thrilled us. But the Suicide Squad will definitely be back. Whether we see the 'deranged female killer' we saw before, we'll have to wait and see." What's particularly interesting about these comments is the fact that he mentions "they" (presumably Warner Bros.) have other plans for the character, hence why he's so unsure about whether or not they'll be able to bring her back. The question now is whether we're going to see her in the rumoured Suicide Squad movie, a Batman solo outing or even her own flick! Gotham?! What do you guys think? I want to see Harley Quinn in a live action movie. That would mean a new Joker. Who?

I love Harley but can't carry her own movie and I love the suicide squad but would be better as a show then a movie.

I think it would be awesome to see Harley in a live action movie, even if it's before she becomes Harley and watching her try and treat the Joker at Arkham.... but seeing The Joker and Harley together on screen would also be awesome.

I really hope the DCCU will bring in more stories and characters from the comics, as cool as Nolan's Trilogy was, I'm so happy it's over and we have a chance to actually see the Batman from the comics

Harley Queen sucks. Her voice is annoying, she doesn't have a lot of personality and the only reason people love her is because of the novelty of having a female Joker that talks funny and dresses like a whore.

I highly doubt it. WB is really straying from the comedy route. Unless they make her "dark" and "gritty" then maybe.

They seem to have "plans" for lots of stuff. They sure are good at "planning" over at WB.

And yet it's Marvel raking in the bucks putting talking raccoons on screen and making people fall in love with anthropomorphic trees.

@PAF

The Joker has to be in the DCCU eventually, so I think there's definitely a chance for Harley to show up in some form, even if it's before her transformation when she's still a Doctor....

If Ben Afflecks older Batman is the DC Film universe standard, then the Joker must already exist... Hence Harley can be added at any time.

She's a great character if they can actually find the live-action actress to do her justice.
