Scoot McNairy Hints That BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Role Is Long-Term
Recent set photos have led to a lot of speculation about who Scoot McNairy (Argo) will be playing in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and now a new interview with the actor seems to indicate that he'll have a role in the DC Cinematic Universe moving forwards. Is he The Flash?
Scoot McNairy and his green CGI socks have resulted in fans reaching the conclusion that he will appear in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice as either The Flash, Metallo or possibly a wonded Metropolis citizen from Superman and General Zod's battle in Man of Steel. In a recent interview with Schmoes Know, they told the Argo star that they very much hope to see him as a member of the Justcue League in Zack Snyder's movie. His response? "Yeah well…I hope to be a part of the DC Universe for a while as well." That's an interesting reply, and it could be seen in some way as confirmation that he will indeed be suiting up as the Scarlet Speedster. On the other hand, it could just be that he hopes to appear in more of these movies, but if his role is just a one off, why mention an unlikely return? We're going to have to wait and see! In equally interesting news from the interview, McNairy was quizzed on whether he will be reteaming with his Monsters director Gareth Edwards for his upcoming Star Wars spin-off! "You know Gareth has been a Star Wars fan since he was a little kid, you know so if I was going to be in one of the Star Wars films, I would definitely want to be in the one he directs." What do you guys think?
