New Details On A BATMAN V SUPERMAN Scene Featuring Ben Affleck's 'Bruce Wayne'

It's been a year since Warner Bros. announced that Ben Affleck will play Batman in Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, so it seems appropriate that we have some details on a scene featuring Bruce Wayne tonight! It's minor, but also pretty intriguing...

To celebrate the one year anniversary of Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, Batman-News have dropped a scoop about a scene from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice which they've received details about. Last week, Zack Snyder was shooting in Detroit's Masonic Temple, a building which is used as a reception hall for weddings and similar types of events. For this movie though, a large kitchen in the building was transformed into what the site describes as, "an underground MMA fighting arena and bar" similar to the one from Fight Club. People are there betting on the outcome of the fights and Bruce Wayne apparently joins them! When asked what he's doing there, he apparently replies, "I'm kind of a night person," and has a conversation with someone at the bar. It's hard to imagine this just being a random moment thrown in to show us what the vigilante gets up to in his downtime, so it should be very interesting to see how the location factors into Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice! @Sipprelle

There was humor in Man of Steel. But it was appropriate when need be and wasn't too much. I feel this line however is borderline cheesy.

Actually, my article was posted first. :) It was just scheduled to not show until 7pm so you guys wouldn't see an unfinished version! The other's URL ended with 62, this one ends with 61 (in case you need proof).

@FordEl I'm joking man. There was definitely some smart humor in Man of Steel (ie. I get writers block if I'm not wearing a flak jacket) but I just like that this might not be an extremely dark movie. Unless it's actual cheese, I'll be laughing my ass off. I like it.

@Sipprelle

I just hope its not overbearing and not even funny like some movies are...Because then it takes me out of it and I can't really enjoy the movie at all. They should keep the same witty dialogue and humor levels the same. To me Man of Steel had undertones of hope and it wasn't dark to me.

@FordEl Same, same. I don't want a wisecrack every scene or anything, just a slightly lighter tone (I liked MoS btw).

@JoshWilding you need to edit what Bruce says.

it's "I'm kind of a night person", not "I'm king of a night person."

This maybe the stage where he recruits a new robin....if they want to be modern and realistic. ..why not pick up a 15-18 year old mma fighter as a robin
