Jeremy Renner Not Keen On Solo Outing For HAWKEYE; Teases CAPTAIN AMERICA 3
Jeremy Renner (Avengers: Age of Ultron) reveals why he doesn't believe Hawkeye needs his own movie and that he has little interest in making one happen. The actor does however seemingly confirm that Clint Barton will be in 2016's Captain America 3! Hit the jump for details.
"I’m happy to be the ensemble," Jeremy Renner tells MTV News in the interview above when asked if he has any interest in giving Hawkeye his own solo adventure on the big screen. "I’m not scratching or clawing to do a solo movie by any means. I think he’s a utility guy that can bounce around into other people’s universes a little bit, especially like ‘Cap 3.’" Wait, is that confirmation that the archer will indeed be making an appearance in the Captain America franchise after scheduling conflicts led to his cameo in The Winter Soldier being scrapped?
