More From Ben Affleck On BATMAN v SUPERMAN Fan Reaction, Locations, Suit And More

We've rounded up another set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice interviews with Ben Affleck for you, including an appearance on The Today Show where he discusses the fan reaction and how the movie is being conceived in a "new and interesting way". All that and more right here!

As you may have realised after reading the interview we published with Ben Affleck yesterday afternoon, he's being very careful what he says when it comes to discussing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, we've rounded up a few different interviews for you and they combined make for a pretty interesting read! In a chat with The Today Show above to promote Gone Girl, the actor and director touches on how the film has been conceived in a new and interesting wayt before once again shrugging off the vocal response from fanboys by saying, "You have all of this attention — some of it's positive, some of it's negative. I think, in the end, you make the movie and it either works or it doesn't." (thanks to ComicBook.com for the heads up on that one).

In a chat with The Detroit Free Press, Affleck talks in detail about spending time in that city shooting Batman v Superman (it's well worth having a read of) before moving on to specifically address why it's a good choice for both Metropolis AND Gotham. "There are things to be discouraged by here and there are things to be inspired by here. I find it really dynamic. There are parts that look like Metropolis and parts that look like Gotham City." We also have the Tweet below, and you have to imagine that refers to The Dark Knight Returns suit we saw in that leaked Comic-Con footage!

Ben Affleck is either going to nail it as Batman or not.

I really hope Batman v Superman will be entertaining and just in general a really good film.

Batman v Superman could be the event of 2016.

I've actually been waiting for Batman and Superman to appear on the big screen together for a very long time and i'm pretty sure i'm not alone here.

Hopefully he added the blue to the suit. It looks really good in the fan manips even though I would rather it be more of a midnight blue.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think the first outing on film of Batman and Superman is historic.

Thats just a bold face lie.

"I disagree. Since the MCU started I would say their core heroes have become much more well known and recognised but they are still some way behind Bats and Supes as being iconic and universally known. And whilst I do agree Marvel paved the way for cross-movie shared universe type stuff, the fact Batman and Superman have had several individual films and yet never crossed over makes this all the more special.

I get what you're saying but these are the two biggest superheroes in the world, together for the first time. That, to me at least, makes it historic
"

Agreed.

It's kind of sad that Ben is taking all the attention is movie and Cavill is getting none of it I mean the title is Batman versus SUPERMAN. The media attention he's getting a feel like this is a Batman movie which time is proven that people will flock more toward Batman Superman film. Doesn't bode well for the future the Superman franchise if you asked me. And I'm more excited to see Batman in this film more than Superman and I feel like a lot of people are more excited to see Batman

Gal Gadot is getting no love when it comes the media attention for this film either

@ComicBornBred
Well yeah more people would be excited to see Batman than Superman in this film. We already saw Zack Snyder's version of Superman, now we want to see his version of Batman.

It's simple logic really.

Shes gotten it the worst. Ppl are slowly coming around but its still a big amount. A lot of people have already generally accepted Affleck.

It's Batman and Superman(the most iconic superhero characters) in a live action film together for the first time, of course it's historic.

Ben's got another movie to promote, Gone Girl, so he's in the media for that. Cavil will probably get more attention when Man From Uncle starts promoting. It's too early from the release date to actually promote Batman v. Superman, so unless Gal Godot has something else coming out, we won't be seeing her for a long while.
FordEl
FordEl - 9/29/2014, 9:47 AM
@WesleyGibson

From their roster that was released (or some of it) The contenders all were racially ambiguous and exptic looking. On top of that they pretty much all had an accent

Those qualities are all something that the new live action Wonder Woman needs. Im overall happy with Gadot but Ive never seen her carry a movie before. Shes always been a side to a side character. But she was more utilized in Fast and Furious 6 and I definitely see potential.

She has Triple Nine which is aiming for a September 2015 release.
