COMICS: "Planet of the Symbiotes" Begins in First Look At GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #21

This November, the Guardians face their worst nightmare as the new "Planet of the Symbiotes" arc kicks off in Guardians of the Galaxy #21! Brian Michael Bendis and Valerio Schiti venture where no heroes have ever gone before – to the home planet of the deadly alien symbiotes!

Ever since the Venom symbiote bonded with Flash Thompson, he has wielded it as a force for good, hoping to make the Earth a safer place. Only the far reaches of space are a little out of his depth! And with the Venom costume finally reunited with its own species – where will it’s allegiances lie? Trapped on a world full of hostile alien parasites, the Guardians of the Galaxy may begin to regret letting Flash Thompson join their team. Be there when the Guardians face a new horror in deep space as “Planet of the Symbiotes” kicks off in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #21!

Cool, looks good...still wished Gamora had yellow around her eyes in the movie...or at least a representaton of it. (More than the light yellow eyeshadow she apparently had)...

I love this series, but...(yep there's always a but) why do all of the symbiotes have the spider-man emblem on their chest. Ahh who cares love the series, the artist and the characters!

Hopefully this goes better then Marvel's last attempt at telling a planet of the symbioses story back in the 90's.
Seriously this is like the 3rd time that Marvel have tried this idea. I really hope it works for them this time, but their track record of the idea is not good.

The chest emblems are just on the cover, not inside the book thankfully.

That symbiotic hoodie makes me think Parker Robbins should become the next Venom. That's a really cool look.

I think Guardians sales have been up for a while. IMO, Bendis reinvigorated the title. The movie only helped.

Agreed in concern to the Bendis run. Hasn't been great other than infinity and original sin. We'll see though. RICHARD RIDER!!!!

They incorporated Gamora's stupid movie costume...

That doesn't look like Gamora's movie costume but they certainly included pupils for her eyes. She looks way better when her eyes are all white.
