It's now the turn of Age of Apocalypse, the 1994/1995 event which took place in an alternate universe caused by Legion travelling back in time to kill Mageto. We still dont know what their doing with these yet. Or does someone know? If not then lets just jump on the hate bandwagon. [frick] you Marvel! The house of ideas has run out of them......blah blah blah......

For real though......what are they gonna do with these stories?

maybe marvel are just using the title of the events & these will be brand new stories.the planet hulk teaser showed captain america fighting many different looking hulk's,nothing like the original planet hulk story.

so i think some of you should actually wait & see what marvel are doing first before jumping the gun.

why do people make such outlandish comments when it comes to tasers? havn't you all learned by now that makng comments and judgements on something when you know next to nothing about it makes you look like a complete idiot after all the info is revealed?
just saying.
wait until things are released before you diss them. I know, Logic has no place on the internet, but come on, no need to be completely stupid.

Marvel is reminding me of Hollywood wright now. It seems like they are unning out of ideas so theyre revisiting or rebooting old titles its very sad lol

@marvel72. You sir......are correct. Lol. But........your asking too much from them. You should know better. I buy you a drink for your efforts. Cheers.

@RedSkull667 you couldn't be more right. happens everytime ANYTHING is announced...either people diss it and say how it will suck or people praise it and say it will be awesome. people are fools. I saw a whole forum of people once praise a movie based on it's title...that's all that was released...it's title...and yet the movie will be epic...sigh...Marvel should take some of the billions it is making and donate it to the education of kids in America.

Now whatever this is is getting more interesting, considering how the "Age of Apocalypse" universe had ended/died.

oh shit, marvel releasing a story called x-men:age of apocalypse a year before the movie is released.

it must be part of that conspiracy against fox.

People bitching have pretty clearly not been following the comics recently. The books have been building to a Crisis-like event for years, particularly in New Avengers, All-New X-Men, Age of Ultron, The Spider-Books, etc. these promos are all pretty obviously tying into that, and the idea that time and space are about to collapse/fluctuate in a big way in their universe.

Ya your right Marvel is suppose to be cancelling all the Fox owned properties like the Fantastic Four. Not like the Fantastic Four comic was a low seller for a long time so that is why it was cancelled no that could have nothing to do with that right?

Reemember when Marvel did the "Season One" series of books? this could be like that. just retelling these stories so that people that may have missed them (or may not have been alive) when the were originally released can catch up on them.

New 52 was basically DC's version of X-Men's Age of Apocalypse almost 20 years later.

Flame on!

Cool.

Also, another reason why Marvel is canceling Fantastic 4 because of poor sales not to start shit with Fox

Marvel is CLEARLY not retreading past ideas in the standard comic book / TV Show / Hollywood sort of way. If I had to make a guess, I'd say that somehow all these massive events are going to collide in a way that creates a HUGE comic book event. I'll wait and see how it all pans out before I bitch about Marvel not having any ideas.

Honestly, the only thing I've seen that I'm remotely interested in reading is Secret Wars, and that's just because of Alex Ross's incredible (per usual) promotional art.

Marvel is not cancelling FF because of poor sales... They're cancelling everything and starting over because of where the story is headed. Even Avengers is ending. So that silly conspiracy theory doesn't really hold.
