Possible STAR WARS EPISODE VII Concept Art Offers Another Look At The Villain

It's hard to tell what's real or fake by this point, but a new piece of concept art which is apparently taken from J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII offers up a new look at the highly anticipated movie's Sith villain. As you'll see, he looks very sinister. Check it out!

The following piece of concept art apparently hails from a now deleted Image Shack account (not dissimilar to how that large batch of artwork from the movie found its way online recently). As you can see, it features a Sith villain from Star Wars Episode VII, though whether this is one of the character's we've heard about or someone else altogether obviously is unclear at this point.

As you can see, the lighsaber appears to have two smaller blades near the base giving it the appearance of a sword (possibly to stab opponents up close). As always, take this with a pinch of salt for the time being as there's always a chance it could be fake. It certainly looks legit though!

Why the hell are there small lightsabers coming out of the side of the main lightsaber?

Extra parts of a lightsaber to kill all members of the fantastic four at the same time. That's Dr. Doom right?

looks like Darth Revan. What's he doing here? And that light saber: awful!

Stick to the basics; all these variations defeat the idea of it being a "simple, elegant weapon" I know they want to do something new but this is too far.

Dooku's curved handle made NO DAMN sense; Darth Maul's double ended blade was just BADASS. There's only but so much you can vary.

But those two little blades on the side: horrible. horrible. horrible.

I think the moment that someone decided "more lightsaber blades" was the answer to making a villain more intimidating was the very moment that Star Wars stopped being cool.

All of the Sith are looking alike.

And that idea of making the cross-guard a light saber is stupid. It has no functional practicality. If someone holds the saber too high on the grip they will burn their hands off.

What's with the lil lightsabers on the holder?
I'm sorry but that looks silly

Would much rather and single blade than this. If it aint broke don't fix it. I still believe in this movie.

It's the logic of side blades on the lightsaber that's bothering, seems like it would be pretty easy to cut your own arm with that thing...

Loos okay, but I'm definitely not keen on every villain having some sort of lightsaber gimmick.

Are they still using the same Star Wars theme/music?

I'm hoping the same music or theme is included, Star Wars would be weird without it....

And, I don't think those are two little light sabers, I think it's a medieval style sword, and the two pieces sticking out are metal or gold

I don't think they could be that stupid. If Power Rangers could use lightsabers w/out someone getting sued, that's what they would look like.

The costume is total dork. This is probably fanmade.

disney marvel are amazing at keeping secrets... disney starwars though...thats a different story.
it still really surprises me that marvel kept the mandarin twist a secret. their crew really do care about the movies.

Not liking that odd lightsaber.
Getting too carried away with design elements...keep it simple.
Stick with what's worked in the past.(original trilogy)
