COMICS: SPOILER WARNING! The Joker's New Face Revealed On BATMAN #37 Cover

"The New 52" kicked off with the Clown Prince of Crime cutting off his own face, but after revealing himself to the Caped Crusader in today's issue #36, the cover to Batman #37 finally shows us his new appearance in the rebooted DC Comics Universe. Hit the jump to check it out!

Today's Batman #36 featured The Joker revealing himself to the Caped Crusader, and as you can see from issue #37's cover, he has a new look to go with his new face. There's nothing drastically different here, though he definitely appears to be a little more grounded than the cartoonish versions we saw before "The New 52" reboot. The current "Endgame" story arc sees the Clown Prince of Crime targeting Batman in a bid to end their rivallry once and for all. Thoughts?

Jared Leto in makeup will make the Joker look like a drag queen. Not that happy about him as a possible joker.

Jared Leto played a drag queen once therfor he isnt right for any non drag queen roles!

...

I bet he will be the most comic accurate Joker yet....if he is the Joker...

Now on topic.

That design is cool except for the awful hair cut.

Looks okay, nothing exciting. As for Jared Leto, I don't like the idea of him as Joker...sure he's 42 but he looks way younger and I'd like my Joker to resemble something from lets say the Arkham Asylum series where he actually looks older. I'm sure he can pull it off acting wise though, but to be honest I don't want Joker to be in Suicide Squad...seems like a ploy to get people to watch.
