Two More Female Directors In The Running For WONDER WOMAN Named
So, we know that Michelle MacLaren is the frontrunner for the job, but the names of two more candidates who have met with the studio have now been revealed. However, it sounds like they may have possible met with Warner Bros. for something other than Wonder Woman...
The Hollywood Reporter have now added to their earlier report about Michelle MacLaren being the frontrunner to helm Wonder Woman by revealing two other directors who have met with Warner Bros. According to the site, they've also been talking to Lesli Linka Glatter, a director and co-executive producer on Homeland, and Jennifer Kent, the director of the well-received horror movie The Babadook. Both of those obviously have strong female leads, but they add that these meetings may not have been for Wonder Woman, pointing out that the studio "is not married to the idea of a female director." Could it be that one of these women will end up helming another major DC Comics project? Remember, MacLaren (who apparently first met with the studio back in August) hasn't signed up to direct just yet, so we're going to have to wait and see! Thoughts?
