Leaked JURASSIC WORLD LEGO Sets Give Us A First Look At The Terrifying "D-Rex"

We know that Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World will feature a newly created dinosaur, with one report claiming that it will have red eyes and translucent skin. Now, what appear to be leaked images from upcoming LEGO sets reveal our first look at the terrifying beast. Check it out!

Based on what we've heard so far, in Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt plays a scientist who works closely with the dinosaurs kept in the theme park. While he sounds like an all-round good guy, the owners and scientists behind the scenes apparently tamper with dino DNA in order to create what has been dubbed the "D-Rex", a terrifying looking monster to keep people interested in the attraction. It's this which will apparently lead to the kind of chaos we saw in the original trilogy, and thanks to Scified, we may now have our first look at at their creation (via leaked images from upcoming LEGO sets). Based on the images below, it appears as if it will have full use of its hands too. These definitely look legit, but we'll have to wait and see. Thoughts?

So it's a T-Rex crossed with a Raptor? He's gonna be opening doors! Then not fitting through them...

@SauronsBANE... You did say please. You're mama would be proud. And from the bottom of my heart, I really hope your wish comes true. The original Jurassic Park blew me away when I saw it in theaters as a boy. It's still a great film. I can't believe how well the cgi stands up all these years later. It sounds crazy, but that film changed my life and set me on my career path so many years ago. Films 2 and 3 were just so far off from the first. Here's to the franchise regaining some wonder and magic from the first!

And yeah... Why IS the dinosaur attacking a black Lego man? Kinda makes you wonder why the folks at Lego chose that figure. :)

I really hope they have regular T-Rex's in this movie. The T-Rex was the best part of all the movies and when they killed one off iin the third movie I was not happy.

Awesome, much better than stupid spinoussaurs that supposedly could break a T Rex's neck. Stuff I've read is that it was a glorified fisherman whose teeth were for catching fish in a swamp, not breaking a thick neck.

@TomSolo Haha couldn't agree more! The original Jurassic Park is easily my favorite movie of all time, and it really kick-started my childhood obsession with dinosaurs. In fact, it's pretty much what got me interested in movies in the first place.

While The Lost World is actually a guilty pleasure of mine (who DIDN'T want to see a T-Rex let loose in San Diego??), the sequels are clearly a step down in terms of quality. The less said about Jurassic Park 3, the better.

If Jurassic World can recapture the magic of the first movie, I'll be very happy!

Why do you guys keep saying it's "white?" Did no one else actually read the article? It's not white in the film, it's "translucent?" You know, like not totally transparent, but kinda see through, like frosted glass.
