Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt is featured on the cover of the latest issue of GQ Magazine and reveals that there were in fact plans for Star-Lord to keep the actor's pre-ripped physique, and even recalls a bizarre encounter with Iron Man 2's Mickey Rourke...
GQ have a great cover feature on Chris Pratt which you can read by clicking on the link below, and the magazine even caught up with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn to quiz him on the actor's transformation into a bonafide Hollywood hunk. "I thought, Well, hell, he's overweight, but if that means we have the world's first overweight superhero, I'm okay with it." Pratt meanwhile didn't see the problem, either. "You can make a talking raccoon that looks real. Why can't I just be fat?" However, it turns out that he was more than happy to embrace the challenge of getting in shape. "I like the challenge of it." The actor also recounted a bizarre encounter with Iron Man 2 actor Mickey Rourke when the two met on a plane as Pratt and wife Anna Faris were trying to calm down their young son. "Like SHHHH! Like he's the baby whisperer. Like he's gonna get the baby to stop crying when the baby's mother can't, just by aggressively shushing the baby. Mother[frick]er. I was like, 'Damn, the [frick]in' Wrestler shushed my baby.'"
