From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close and Benicio del Toro, Guardians of the Galaxy is set to be released digitally this month and on DVD and Blu-ray in December.

Like with the Winter Soldier, Walmart is selling 5 different covers for GOTG. Each with different characters.

I want that Best Buy Steel book though...I'll start getting those starting with the phase 3.

I didn't realize there was an actual dance off in this movie. I thought it was just mantinium exaggerating.

Just a heads up; the director's commentary on this is just two hours of James Gunn talking about who he's friends with on the production. Nothing insightful related to GotG whatsoever or entertaining for that matter...well, unless you're playing a drinking game where you take a shot every time James Gunn calls someone his "best friend" (disclaimer: you'll be passed out before you ever make it to Howard the Duck). ;)

@blackandyellow Yes there is an actual dance off in this movie.

It's a lot cooler than Mantinium makes it sound.

Great movie, just disappointed with the poor level of extras on recent marvel releases!! Where are all the great making ofs and what happened to the infamous one shots!!

Transformers was very average, although at least they made the effort on extras!!

The trolls whining about the dance off are on the same level as the trolls who whine about the destruction in MoS. Keep on failing trolls.
