Honestly, I like it. I greatly appreciate Disney not trying to turn it into another "dark" fairy tale film and instead are keeping it pretty light and colorful.

I don't care what anyone says, that looks absolutely beautiful.

Love the Peter Pan story and the first disney animated version. The two live action versions (Hook and Peter Pan) are pretty lousy imo. This looks amazing, no doubt in large part to Joe Wright and the cast. Plus the story looks really emotionally charged and visually original.

Joe Wright is a great filmmaker, but still cautiously optimistic about tihs

@Nick56

Shit are you serious? Yeah I guess since Peter Pan is public domain others can use it.

Well nevermind then. Thanks Disney for leaving Warner Bros. to try and tell actual fantasy kids movies while you're off doing Alice In Wonderland 2.

Both this and Jurassic World look meh as hell. Let the Star Wars 7 trailer redeem these trailers.

Aside from that one line though the trailer looked interesting, i'll probably see it.

Between this and the new Jurassic World "teaser", I like this way more, yeah more silly but looks a lot more fun.

Hedlund as Hook is awful. This looks to silly for me.

Still a better trailer than the Jurassic World one.

@JamesMan Yup. Honestly its like Alice, Oz, Maleficent, and Cinderella came off an assembly line. Just generic "dark" fantasy with overused and fake looking CG. Also FOX is also making a Peter Pan movie with Melissa Mcarthy and the director of night at the museum which will likely be shit. This is like the opposite, and Im so thankful for that.

@Prime Well this is an origin so Hook hasn't become the villain we know. Also it seems like the "natives" in this version of the story aren't actually Native Americans (just look at what they are wearing) and maybe just a band of misfits who have developed their own culture. Because lets be honest, the portrayal of Tiger Lily in most versions of the story (and the actual book) is pretty racist.

Peter Pan is owned by The Great Ormond Street Hospital, which is why Disney is milking the shit out of Neverland with all the spin offs we have been seeing lately.

If anything, it looks miles better than 2003's 'Peter Pan.' That film was a disaster. Peter Pan should be magical and fun for children, and this rendition looks like it just might be able to capture that feeling.
