Badass Digest are back with more Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice details, and you may want to turn away now because we're about to start delving into some pretty major spoilers here! According to the site, this version of the Caped Crusader has been operating in Gotham City for a total of 17 years. That's a long time, and obviously means that there are a lot of stories which which future solo movies (possibly starring a younger actor?) could delve into. Regardless, at some point in that period, longtime Batman ally Commissioner Jim Gordon has been killed! Quite the shocker, eh? The script apparently makes no mention of how it happened or who is responsible, but there is a memorial plaque to him, finally explaining why he hasn't been cast in the movie.
It's then that the site delve into even more details, revealing that most of the story takes place in Metropolis, with two major fight scenes happening back in Gotham (one of these features Superman looking for Batman...possibly the same scene we saw in the Comic-Con teaser), and the other is for the movie's climatic fight scene. Before Argo's Chris Terrio came on board to rewrite, Robin's death was mentioned, but that has since been removed. They add that Batman is the lead of the Justice League movie and that it's him who puts the team together, while Alfred - who we recently heard will be more hands on - will feature a scene in which he, "advises Bruce on his conflict with Superman by telling him a long tale about two competing samurai who come to blows while trying to save a village." Some pretty big revelations here then. Thoughts?
