An AVENGERS/GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Crossover? Not So Fast...
Pretty much all of us are convinced that Avengers: Infinity War is essentially going to be a team-up between Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Guardians of the Galaxy, but according to James Gunn, that might not be the direction things are heading in...
Thanos will finally square off with The Avengers in the two-part Avengers: Infinity War, and ever since Guardians of the Galaxy was first announced, fans have been wondering when we'll see the two teams fighting side-by-side. That movie obviously seems like the logical place for them to meet, but just because all of these characters exist in the same universe, do they really all have to end up coming together somehow
? When director James Gunn was asked whether or not Avengers: Age of Ultron will change the tone of the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, he replied: "We really are separate from the Avengers, and I don't think people should assume too many things about the Guardians play in all these. We have our own galaxy to take care of. We have our own galaxy to save. Earth is the Avengers’ province. Thinking that everything is going to come together in a perfect way is not necessarily the way it's going to happen." What do you guys think?
