r2, Luke and Chewbacca are the chracters I want through the new trilogy! I wouldn't be surprised if they kill Han in Episode VII or VIII...

I've kind of grown to dislike R2-D2 over the years. In the original trilogy he was cool... A humble little robot with more common sense than most of the characters (who still might fry himself by accident trying to hack a door.) but between the prequels and various side series that humble, simple nature was destroyed. Now he's the key player who knew everything going on all along, who hangs with C-3PO as a kind of cover while secretly being the smart one.

Makes him seem kind of douchy.
