"I felt personally to keep Yoda as this disembodied thing it would confuse the audience less," Star Wars Rebels executive producer and "Path of the Jedi" director Dave Filoni said in an interview about Yoda's return in an interview earlier this year. "I didn't want you to think Yoda could be teleporting from planet to planet. What's great about Frank, by keeping the voice very present and active, you do feel that it's a watchfulness and that he's speaking to you from afar. And I didn't want anyone to think that he had left Dagobah [the planet where Yoda first trains Luke Skywalker]. It was on the outer rim of what we do, but I think we were able to pull it off."

I hope Yoda gets his own video game one day… I loved using him in "Star Wars Battle Front II".

Seems like too many words. Never heard Yoda speak that much in so little time. How's the writing for this series?

@Superior

Likeable characters, good voice acting and feel and tone similar to that of the original trilogy. Definitely worth checking out for any Star Wars fan.

@MrMartinMarvel I with you. Tom Kane's Yoda is too high pitched and formulaic as opposed to Frank Oz's.

I think this show is better than Clone Wars because it takes place during a better time on the Star wars universe. Scenes like this and the Darth Vader one alone make it better than Clone Wars. Hearing Frank Oz and James Earl Jones again as their characters makes me happy.

Frank Oz is Yoda. I'm glad he and JEJ got to voice their famous characters. Rebels isn't better than Clone Wars, but it's getting better.

OH NO YOU DIDNT!

@GentlemanlyBatman

2 good films?? 3 Great films 2 boring sequels and an action packed conclusion to the 2 boring prior movies…
3 great, 1 good and 2 boring (even the boring movies had 20 minutes of Jedi fun that were better than most DC movies.. LOL)

You have a pic of Bales Batman, Nolans 1 good movie Dark Knight (mainly good because of Heath Ledger) to his boring batman begins with action scenes meant to give people seizures and the conclusion TDKR with a total of 19.3 min of Batman in a friggin 2 hour and 45 min movie… So in relation to good films to bad films in a franchise Star Wars sheeeeits on Nolans Batman and all DC movies seeing how they can't get past the Dark Knight.
