So excited for this. The first volume was fantastic. I hope these EARTH ONE titles come out more frequently, though. I also hope they expand the line to include characters like Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Green Arrow, and hopefully that could lead to Justice League: Earth One.

Both volumes of Superman: Earth One are terrific and the first volume of Batman was equally great. Haven't picked up Teen Titans yet but it looks cool. So excited for next year, we're getting Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman!

Not saying it's bad but compared to Superman EO v1 it was average....Batman Year One is one of the best CB stories.....maybe I was expecting more from this......who knows.

Love Gary Frank's art... just wish it wasn't wasted on lousy retreads like this. Johns' work has peaked.

Earth One Batman was pretty average. Earth One Superman (1 and 2) were two of the best Superman comics I've read.

The Earth One comics are great, both Superman volumes are some of the best comics i've ever read, Batman was really good and the recent teen titans was also excellent

It's clearly a labor of love, at least the first volume. Hate to be too critical, but it's just not Batman. They call it Earth 1 so I guess they get a pass. It's very polished.

I just...well, Batman stands for something and this version just isn't Batman.

Both Earth 1 Superman stories are pretty average and border at bad. Earth 1 Batman just isn't Batman, John's just stop and go back to your old days where you would write some damn good stories.

So DC is still doing the "Elseworlds" thing? They should put some effort in fixing the New 52, the continuity and characters were so much better without this constant "re-visioning" crap.

I love earth one Batman much more than batman year one. Felt like the take on the character was fresh and should have been used for batman of the new 52. Superman earth one was ok. Birthright is by far the best superman origin
