New Behind-The-Scene Image From SPECTRE (JAMES BOND 24) Teases An Icy Location

After taking a break over Christmas, Spectre is back in production, and a new behind-the-scenes still sent out via the official @007 Twitter account teases an icy tundra.

Above is the latest behind the scenes image from Spectre, the highly anticipated twenty fourth instalment in the James Bond franchise. In the movie, a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. What does this image tell us? Not much, but this type of terrain will be a first for Daniel Craig's 007!

Also starring Ben Wishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux, Andrew Scott, and Rory Kinnear, Spectre is set to be released later this year.

Hoyte Van Hoytema is going to have his hands full trying to one-up what Roger Deakins did with Skyfall.

This is probably what Lake Altausee looks like during the winter. Nice to know we'll get some action in Austria. Gorgeous country.

Yep, Skyfall was [frick]ing gorgeous.

But I agree, I think Hoytema has proven he can hold his own.

It's in Russia, most likely, Spectre is a secret organization, based primarily out of Russia, although they have both "secret" bases all over the world, but my guess is Russia, if they're going with Spectre's origins

@Demiurge Merci, charmante dame. :)

I would also love to travel to England, Spain, Italy, and Greece.

I forgot The Sound of Music was filmed in Austria. It has been so long since I've seen it. Yah, it does seem like a special place.
