New BATMAN v SUPERMAN Details; Expect To See 'The Trinity' Battle 'Doomsday'

A new report weighs in on the possibility of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice being split into two movies, and reveals additional story details about how much action there is in the DC Comics adaptation, how the battle with Doomsday will end up playing out, and Cyborg...

Is Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice going to be split into two movies? No one really seems to know, but based on the iteration of the script that Badass Digest claims to have seen, it sounds unlikely! The story is described as being fairly streamlined with not enough material to really cover two movies, but one suggested cut off point is the fight which takes place between Batman and Superman at around the halfway point. However, that fight apparently isn't all that big, and the first half of the movie is fairly light on action. The second half is full of big set pieces on the other hand, with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman battling Doomsday in Metropolis AND Gotham! Finally, Ray Fisher (who plays Cyborg) ONLY has scenes with Ben Affleck, and they add that "I'm pretty sure Cyborg is only in this movie as a cameo, and that's at the very, very end as Batman assembles the Justice League. If they were cutting this movie in two it seems likely that Fisher's part would have been beefed up at least a little bit." What do you guys think of all this?

The New 52 to my knowledge had Doomsday appear very early on in Superman's career so I can see why (with the films being heavily influenced by it) he could appear here.

Doomsday is way to early to do, unless their planning on doing the death of superman in dawn of Justice part 1 and then bring him back in part 2 of dawn of justice to fight batman

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a dream come true. I know I'll be in for an unforgettable experience the moment I walk in the theaters, give the cashier my BVS ticket, and go watch the film. Seeing Trinity battling Doomsday and Barman assembling the Justice League in live action will BLOW MY MIND!!!! Thank you DC/WB for making this a reality. Bring on Barman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!!!

I really wouldn't be surprised if most of these "scoops" are coming from the SonOfArrogance script. There were a lot of parallels in BD's initial "scoops". I highly doubt these.

@dev7

This is Snyder we're talking about. Character development and storytelling isn't exactly his strong point.

Doomsday WAAAAY too early...

... I'm balls to the wall for this movie, but the "knee-jerk reaction" DC/WB is committing to compete with Marvel's shared universe does have me worried...

They're attempting to set up too many characters in one movie.

If they have enough story and footage they probably should break it into two hopefully giving themselves ample time on everything else in the pipeline

I want to believe this but Badass Digest's record is nothing near spotless. The fact that he has had conflicting scoops is telling enough.

As long as one isn't boring and one has time for us to breath I'll be fine. Oh yeah and if they cut off before we see them fight I'm gonna personally throw Kevin Tsujihara off of the Empire State Building

They claim to have "familiarity with the script" .. I can tell you first hand, no.. no they don't.

Devin does not have ANY familiarity with the script, he hasn't spoken to anyone who wrote the script, he has never had a single reply from WB or any of the actors who worked on BvS.

So no, his statements are not based on anything other then making stuff up.

And @Josh as per usual gets to post whatever crap he feels like, while deleting other peoples hard written work and claims writing for himself. @Josh is an article whore who HATES it when people beat him to the punch, so he goes ahead and delete their "crappy writing".

Devin is full of crap, as per usual.
