Is The JUSTICE LEAGUE Coming To THE FLASH? SPOILERS For Next Week's Episode Ahead!

Time travel is a confusing storytelling device at the best of times, and while we don't know an awful lot about the timeline that Reverse-Flash and the missing Barry Allen of 2024 hail from, the Justice League do exist in their reality! Are the coming to The CW series? Read on for details!

The following comic preview for The Flash depicts a scene from next week's episode, and before she's interuppted, you'll notice that Gideon mentions that Barry Allen is a founding member of The Justice League. Now, it would be easy to dismiss this as a meaningless Easter Egg, but Harrison Wells (a.k.a. Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash) has been all about keeping the future in place, despite creating The Flash with the particle accelerator years earlier than he was in his time (explaining why this version of the character is younger than in the comic books). It's obviously all rather confusing!

While Superman and Batman are unlikely to ever appear on The CW, could we one day see The Flash form a small screen Justice League with heroes like The Arrow, Supergirl, Firestorm, and The Atom? It definitely seems like a very real possibility, don't you think? If not, this is still a cool nod...

Cool! Quick question for someone watching at UK pace - does Morena Baccarin ever appear in the flesh, sure it was Gideon she was playing?

Is Supergirl going to be in the same universe? It's on CBS, right?

Something no one has pointed out: On iZombie (Which has been neither confirmed or denied as being in the same universe as Flash/Arrow, though, it doesn't really matter) last week, her ex is at the morgue getting stitched up and when she asks what happened, her boss says something along the lines of, "He went all vigilante like Batman." Why can't Arrow do that? I mean, COME ON!!!

I still think we could see Batman and Superman in some capacity on Arrow and/or The Flash.

Between Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and the spin off, Justice League for TV is the next logical step

A Justice League, despite being without its key and main members, would be an amazing and awesome thing to see on the small screen. Please make it happen CW!

The thing is, if Batman existed in this universe, we should have known by now. Same as Superman. Plus introducing them would diminish their premier heroes, Arrow and Flash, so I highly doubt they are in this universe.

Are people forgetting there's been different Justice Leagues? This could be the New52 version of the JLA which has Green Arrow & Supergirl as two of it's founding members along with other B-List heroes. There's still no need for Batman or Superman to make an appearance or even be mentioned.

Sounds cool. These shows are geared to a younger audience. So I think it could work without the trilogy. WB/DC has decided they would like to go with a gritty realism tone with their top tier. But just like marvel they don't want to leave all those dollars on the table. why not target a younger audience. Two ex glee kids. One a female hero. and a safe for TV batman lite. great idea.

Looking back, TV should have been purely earth 2 characters, but oh well.

I'd love to see Gustin as the movie version of Flash he'd be the perfect counterpoint to the other heroes. But the TV version of Arrow isn't right for Snyders universe. And I say this as a fan of the show.

Good point @SLP, was thinking that is the direction they are going and you can consider flash as their a lister... @AsgardianHobo, I read somewhere that in the contracts it states something to the effect of if both studios agree that they can cross over...

The future newspaper says something along the lines of "Wayne and Queen cons. merger"
So, bruce wayne exists....Batman must exist too.
