"Grodd Lives" - Barry (Grant Gustin) must deal with the Reverse Flash’s (Tom Cavanagh) latest threat to a member of the group. To make matter worse, Dr. Wells unleashes Grodd on the city in order to distract Barry and the team. Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) head down into the sewers to catch Grodd but the gorilla quickly gets the upper hand after he kidnaps Joe. Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry have a heart to heart talk. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Kai Yu Wu.

Im so gonna miss this show during the season break :-(
I hope the new Spinoff show fills the gap during this break + handling 3 shows at the same time might become hard for the guys behind this shows.

Anyone else notice how strange Cavanaugh's line delivery is? The pacing is really weird. It's almost Shatneresque. For example:

"The Thawne...bloodline is chock...full of influential politicians, scientists, capatians of industry, failures......such...as yourself......are just the exception."

"No. We have seen I......have seen I, am from the future."

Can't wait. Last episode was awesome even though using Everyman as a decoy was a bit of a Deus Ex Machina. Though the story has been so good I'm ok with overlooking it

If DC made comics like this in the 70s things might have turned out differently for me. Still have big problems with DC but the Flash TV is still pretty damn fine.

I agree with Gusto on this one... but there's some time travel [frick]ery would occur! I mean... Eddie could just hammerpunch himself in the balls repeatedly so he can`t have kids. Done. But I guess if he did that.. Reverse Flash wouldn't be born.. so Eddie wouldn't have been captured so he would have never hammerpunched himself in the balls and then Reverse Flash would be born, go back, do Reverse Flash shenanigans leading up to Eddie in a room again, hammerpunching himself in the nuts: lather, rinse, repeat. Stuck in a never ending loop of self inflicted ball busting. Quite the fresh hell, no?

How insane is Eobard Thawne? Doesn't seem insane at all just a jerk relative. Having had several older brothers, I can relate to Eddie in some way. Can't wait for Eobard to ask Eddie "why are you hitting yourself?"

Eddie seems smart enough to know that ol' Eobard must know Eddie is important in some way or he would have killed him. Other the other hand, that smack talk has got to hurt somehow. Therapy might help but that will be an odd session.

Uh, Eddie is not necessarily a direct ancestor of Eobard.

He could be like an uncle of the guy whose genetic line led to Eobard.

So Eddie could punch himself in the nuts repeatedly and Eobard could act all scared like, "Oh, god! You're gonna prevent me!" whilst snickering inside over and over and over again knowing his weird cousin Theobald will never pull his pants down at his sixth year old birthday party...
