New ARROW Featurettes Take Us Behind-The-Scenes Of The Epic Season Three Finale

The season three finale of Arrow has definitely been a little divisive with fans, but there's no denying that it had some epic moments! Two new featurettes focus both on the making of the episode and the work which went into the final battle between Oliver Queen and Ra's al Ghul.

Epic is a bit much.

Huh I must have been watching the wrong episode because apparently the finale was epic... In all seriousness though Arrow has seriously dropped off in quality at this point and the flash and AOS have left it far far behind

It was not the best of the three season for sure but it wasn't terrible either. Now that I saw the trailer for DC's Legends of Tomorrow I think Vandal Savage would have been a better choice for the Arrow's season three baddie.

The problem with season three was it felt like they were trying to make Oliver too much like Batman. Damn it if you want Batman then make a Batman series. WB is so adamant that the TV universe are not in any way connected to the movie Universe so I don't see why we can't have a Year One Batman.

Sorry, but the fights this season aren't any where close to this one...

The main thing that's wrong with Arrow now, is because it's become either predictable or cliche.

Even when it's trying so hard to be cool and "new".

You mean epically disappointing right? Yeah.

Epic is not the word I would attach with Arrow season 3 finale. It was decent at best.

I'm gonna try to stay positive here and say that at least the finale opened up a few paths to take the show in much needed new directions. Season 4 could be really cool! :)

I hated this fight, idk why they are acting like they did so well in creating it. A man with 5+ years of exp should not be able to beat a man who has over 100+ years of exp. Makes no sense

@SWelch

What about the legends of tomorrow trailer tells you Savage would have been the better choice for the season 3 Arrow villain than Ras?

@oMonRo There were some good parts to Season 3, those scenes being one of the highlights. But overall this season has been terrible.

I loved it when it first came back and they killed BC. But then they drug it out of "who killed BC" when we all knew that Malcom did. Despite the fact they tried to cover it up.

Basically they came up with an awesome idea for this season but just kept it going with filler and cliches.

They should have made Oliver and Ra have a different relationship instead of just adapting Batman's story.

It would have made it more interesting and less cliche.

@superotherside Not telling me what I don't already know. Cheers to a better season 4.
superotherside
superotherside - 5/17/2015, 7:08 AM
@oMonRo I hope they just do something different and really think out the story and let Oliver be cool because he's Oliver. Not trying to be Batman. Which in this season they were trying that like at 200%.

Oliver is cool on his own. They should show that. Make him different.
SWelch
SWelch - 5/18/2015, 5:18 AM
@knighted One Vandal Savage is not really tied to one hero. Two using Ras this season it felt like they were trying to make a Batman show with out Batman.

I understand Green Arrow doesn't really have a stellar rogues' gallery but that doesn't mean you can't create one for him. I don't feel just because it is a TV show based on a comic character you have to use only villains from the comics. Look at Harley Quinn. She started out on the animated series and now is an integral part of the comic universe. Not saying that is why they should create a new villain so it ends up in the comics.
