'Superman' And 'The Lone Ranger' Look Suave In New THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. Stills

That's obviously not who Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer are playing in Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E., but the duo perhaps best known for playing the iconic heroes mentioned above are looking a lot more suave and Bond-like than usual in these cool new images...

Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. centers on CIA agent Solo and KGB agent Kuryakin. Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.

In the movie, Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) stars as Napoleon Solo opposite Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger) as Illya Kuryakin. They’re joined by a cast which includes Alicia Vikander (Anna Karenina), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby), with Jared Harris (Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows), and Hugh Grant as Waverly. It's set to be released this August. What do you think about these stills?

Kingsman, in my opinion, was the coolest retro spy film I've ever seen. I don't know, if this one can match it.

Fine, if Armie Hammer isn't gonna be Eddie Brock/Venom he can be Hal Jordan/Green Lantern.

Kingsman brought the fun back to the spy game as well. That except on the magazine masked it seem as if MFU is the forst to do it

@Spartan - "Thank You Armie and Johnny for screwing up the Lone Ranger."

It took all of one trailer to realize that wasn't a Lone Ranger movie, it was "Disney presents Johnny Depp's Tonto with special guest the Lone Ranger."

Since we get news for this, can we get news for Rocky "Creed" when it ramps up the marketing.... I know Man from UNCLE has had more comics but....

It comes out November 25th, and Rocky was in GI Joe, he was in comics, ha, but seriously, will we see Rocky news?

@BigFoster Nicholas Hoult 6-7 years from now as the next Bond. Too bad Idris Elba is getting too old for the role :(

Wasn't Armie Hammer to play Superman in Justice League: Mortal? If it was, then you have two Supermans in this movie. Which would be pretty cool.

@reasonnn possibly, really depends on how long untill they recast. Craig has one more that will likely release in 2017 or 2018. i see no reason why they cant go straight into a new bond and by that point Cavill will be about 38 which is a good age. However im not opposed to someone in their early 30s who can be bond for a while

Your comment about monkeys with hats reminded me of Britta's description of an analogy.

It made me laugh. I'm also a little high.

I'd rather not choose between the two because I love them both, but if I had to it'd be Annie.

Yeah, can't wait.

I think it's awesome that the Sly decided to keep the Rocky franchise going, I grew up with those movies, so many epic characters, Apollo, Mickey, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, Paulie, Tony Gazzo, haha
