The following behind the scenes image from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse doesn't reveal much about the plot, but it does offer up an idea about which characters will be sharing a scene with the movie's titular villain! The question of course, is who is on what side? After all, there's a very good chance that at least some of these mutants might end up deciding to fight alongside Apocalypse...

As well as returning cast members Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Ian McKellen, X-Men: Apocalypse will also introduce Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lana Condor, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy, Olivia Munn, and a number of others. The movie is set to be released on May 27th, 2016. What do you think of this behind the scenes tease?

I mean, cool photo, but I'm not sure that it's news that most of the titular heroes (X-Men) will be in the same scene as the titular villain (Apocalypse).

I think we won't see Apocalypse's look until SDCC.

I swear Singer, I won't see the film if Apocalypse's design is [frick]ed up. Yea it's Singer and I ain't excepting him to respect the source. But looking at the other upcoming CBM directors; we saw Whedon and Gunn make Thanos look like Thanos. I have nothing but confidence Snyder would make Darkseid look like Darkseid.

I do not have that much confidence in Singer making Apocalypse look like Apocalypse. Hopefully because the actor who plays Apocalypse is a big Apocalypse fan, it will make Singer make sure Apocalypse looks right since we have someone who's read the comics.

I don't know whether I'm excited or disappointed at the apparent lack of Logan in the material we have seen so far. It could be a good thing story wise, but a sad day for a wolvie fan such as my self.
