Hal Jordan or John Stewart? Fans have been arguing over which of them should join the DC Cinematic Universe for years now, but it sounds like it might just be a moot point. According to Collider, 2020's Green Lantern reboot will focus on more than just one human Green Lantern, with the site's sources telling them that those will be Hal, John, and possibly Guy Gardner. They claim it will be at least two or three of them anyway, and add that before they delve into the Green Lantern Corps (which the 2011 movie rushed into with unsatisfying results), the plan is to just focus on the human characters. That's an interesting approach, but one which should make everyone happy.

The site adds that they've, "heard speculation that the way Justice League will go down is that Part One will feature our heroes dealing with an Earth-based threat, and then at the end, Green Lantern will fly in and alert them to an intergalactic menace (most likely Darkseid) for Part Two." That's similar to previous reports, and it should be interesting to see if Warner Bros. end up introducing one or more of these Green Lanterns at Comic-Con next month. What do you think?

I know allot of people were asking was a GL movie going to be about Hal or John. And I never thought about it being a buddy cop thing. This could be complete BS but I'm excited. Been reading GL for a long time hope this new GL movie takes a dump on GOTG.

Both rumors make no sense to me. MOS is the beginning of this version/timeline. In MOS there was clearly no GL, much less multiple GLs on or anywhere near Earth.

I kind of think they need to introduce audiences to the idea that more than one human can be a Green Lantern. Like, start off with Hal Jordan already established, and use the movie as a launchpad for John Stewart. Otherwise people might be confused.
