No New STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Trailer Or Footage Coming During Comic-Con
Marvel not showing up has made this year's Comic-Con feel more than a little underwhelming, but it's now been revealed that the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel won't feature any new footage from the movie. In fact, we're going to be waiting some time for the next trailer...
Entertainment Weekly has the scoop on Disney and Lucasfilm's Comic-Con plans for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and it's more than a little underwhelming, a word which seems to fairly accurately sum up this year's event so far. The Hall H panel will not include a new trailer or even a clip from the movie; in fact, the trailer isn't expected to debut until this Fall. So, what will happen on Friday?
Well, there will be a behind the scenes look at the movie (featuring behind the scenes footage and interviews), while J.J. Abrams, Lawrence Kasdan, Kathleen Kennedy, and a number of cast members are all set to attend. That doesn't sound like the most memorable of panels then, and it seems like Disney might be holding the best stuff back until D23. Oh well, at least we have Warner Bros.' DC Comics movie panel to look forward to. Here's hoping that doesn't end up disappointing too, eh?
