It Sounds Like Matt Ryan's CONSTANTINE Is Coming To Season Four Of ARROW
Back when it appeared as if there was a chance Constantine could be saved, Arrow star Stephen Amell offered to guest star in the series. However, it now sounds like Matt Ryan may end up paying a visit to Star City to meet the Green Arrow. Hit the jump for details...
IGN caught up with Stephen Amell and Arrow producer Wendy Mericle at Comic-Con this past weekend and asked if there are any plans in place for Matt Ryan's John Constantine to make an appearance on The CW series during season four. Why? Well, you may recall that there rumblings about Constantine being saved by the network after NBC cancelled the show, but they decided to pass on it, leaving the fan-favourite series to die after just a single season. However, the chances of the demon hunting Brit arriving in Star City are sounding good based on the comments below.
"Yeah, we really want to do it," confirmed Mericle. "It's something we've been talking to DC about and it's just a question of some political things, but also the actor's schedule. We're trying to work it out, but we don't know 100 percent if it's going to happen." That's a very positive update, and Amell added: "Fingers crossed," before Mercile finished by stating that "[We're] really optimistic and we would love to have him." Hopefully this happens, especially if it leads to Constantine getting another chance. Even if that doesn't happen, Ryan becoming a regular guest star on Arrow would be awesome, don't you think?
