Natalie Alyn Lind Joins GOTHAM As BATMAN Love Interest 'Silver St. Cloud'
We've heard a lot of Arrow casting today, but now it's Gotham turn to add a well-known comic book character to the cast. That will be Natalie Alyn Lind (The Goldbergs) as Bruce Wayne love interest Silver St. Cloud. Read on to find out how she'll factor into the series...
Entertainment Weekly reveals that 15 year old actress Natalie Alyn Lind (best known for her role in The Goldbergs) has joined the cast of Gotham's second season as Silvier St. Cloud. In the comic books, the character first appeared as a love interest for Bruce Wayne/Batman during the 1970s, and writer Kevin Smith later brought her back in the controversial Batman: The Widening Gyre.
In this show, she's described as "an ethereal beauty with the pristine manners of a Gotham debutante. Add in the fact that she lost her parents at a young age, and it’s understandable why she and Bruce end up drawn to each other. And as Bruce’s friend — and love interest — Silver introduces Bruce to her uncle Theo Galavan, who just so happens to be a billionaire philanthropist who’s running for Mayor. Needless to say, Bruce finds a father figure in Theo, but as for Silver, well, she’s described as having a heart beating with dark intent. In other words, she’s probably not someone Bruce wants to fall for." So, not a major character, but it definitely sounds like she'll have a major impact on the life of the young Bruce Wayne. What do you think?
