Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

 
Starring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman. Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016.

Honestly, I've never found the Superman identity issue that far-fetched. Firstly, no one knows that Superman even has a secret identity. He's an alien, so maybe when he's not saving people, he's on another planet, or the moon or something. I know a ton of people who look just like celebrities - I have never once considered that they might be that celebrity incognito. Secondly, who has seen Superman close enough to get a positive ID? Certainly not many people who routinely interact with Clark on a regular basis. To the majority of the world, he is a flying Caucasian male, and probably looks like millions of people. Plus, he clearly doesn't have glasses.

Since Lois knows Superman's identity in this series and presumably Batman will, my disbelief is good and suspended.

I'm curious to see how Clark will find out Batman's secret identity. Will he do that thing like in Justice League: War, where he'll peek under the cowl with his x-ray vision and see Bruce Wayne's face? (I always thought that was pretty lame) Will Bruce reveal himself to Clark? Will Superman bash Batman's armoured helmet off in the fight?
