Jenna Dewan-Tatum To Play 'Lucy Lane' In SUPERGIRL TV Series

Yet another character with ties to the world of Superman is coming to CBS' Supergirl TV series this Fall, and it's none other than the sister of Lois Lane, Lucy Lane.

We heard recently that Lucy Lane is coming to Supergirl, and we now know that Witches of East End star Jenna Dewan-Tatum will play her in a recurring role on the series. The character is set to make her debut in the third episode of the CBS series, and is described as, "brash, funny and beautiful as her older sister Lois Lane. Lucy is strong, smart and successful in her own right. She's got a history with Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) and she's come to town to right a previous wrong." In case you hadn't already guessed it, Dewan-Tatum is the wife of Channing Tatum, and this news comes just days after he signed a deal with Fox to play Gambit in his own movie next year. What do you guys think about this casting addition? As always, let us know your thoughts in the usual place!

First!

And I'm cautiously optimistic for this show. Pilot was pretty good, all the hints for Supes were pretty cool. I just really hope this doesn't turn into Superman Jr.

When will they cast Bryce Wayne on this show? Maybe Haley Jordan and Wanda West can join.

As funny as @JH24 comment was. I'm curious as to whether or not he knows that Lucy Lane is an actual comic book character, actually Lois' sister, and not some made up character simply to have a Lane on the show.

@TheManFromLolliLand Which makes me a bit more interested than before. It's a chance for them to explore characters that might be great and rarely get any attention in the comics and live action adaptations.

This saddens me that the same people who are excited for JJ are completely against this show. I mean both of them are yet to be seen, its completely different to dislike something and not watching it anymore but to insult something without even knowing it is really very stupid, and yet the same haters are excited about JJ,why? Is this fanboyism, Disneyism,or Pure stupidity shit? Seriously guys grow up.You guys are the reason that have historically brought CB lovers to shame, You are the reason they call us kids and stupid kids.

The reason i brought JJ into this is because they are both female led. Yeah i needed to mention it for obvious reasons.

@arseven1974 Cuz this looks like a shitty clichéd rom-com. JJ looks like a very unique entry to the superhero genre with talented people behind and in front of the camera.

I love her! I think she's drop dead gorgeous, and she would do well in this series, which i'm already loving that pilot! Can't wait for this show to really take off, and then ideally, do a cross over with Legends Of Tomorrow! OMG!

@SnapperCarr "It looks like is" Can be totally different from being reality and you simply cannot call it bad for being rom-com, if you don't like romcom, just don't watch it but don't claim it to be shit, its your opinion based on your taste based on a guess work which you have made on a show which you haven't watched, ffs its not out yet.And JJ is on Netflix, you know whats the difference? Netflix is for people who only watches stuff based on their taste and thats why you need to subscribe to it and hence it can completely ignore romance from an action show if they want but thats not possible for a CBS or NBC show because it aims for a larger audience with different tastes.
And talent you say, dude you being a guy sitting infront of the computer scratching your ass with the keyboar, don't get to talk lesser about the talents of those actors and directors, and so do i.

I still can't get over the fact that a black person has a Scandinavian last name...lol
Foolsgoldfinger
Foolsgoldfinger - 8/4/2015, 6:17 AM
@Ramiel...a lot of black surnames came from the surnames of slave owners in this country's past, so Olsen is not that impossible to believe. On the other hand, I don't know how many slave owners had the last name "Storm"...if you get my drift.

I'm still pissed that they cast Micad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen! He's a JACKED tall handsome smooth dude! Literally the opposite of everything Jimmy Olsen is supposed to be. I don't give a shit if you change his race, but at least keep the character the same!

@Foolsgoldfinger

I'm aware of that, but when did Scandinavians own black slaves?

If she can act..which her husband cannot..she would make a good Lois Lane.
