FANTASTIC FOUR B-Roll Footage Includes More Unseen Scenes Including...The Fantasticar?!

Surprisingly, Fox has released B-Roll footage for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot which includes even more scenes which didn't make the final cut. One even sees the team assemble at Reed's house and board what looks like a prototype version of the Fantasticar...

It's rare that B-Roll footage offers up a glimpse at scenes which didn't make the final cut, but that was pretty much an inevitability with a movie as butchered in the editing room as Fantastic Four. There are lots of moments below which definitely weren't in the final cut, but perhaps the most interesting is a scene which depicts the team getting into a very unique looking car. Before that, we also see them in the Negative Zone crawling out of it after a bumpy landing. You may recall that the young Reed Richards talked about trying to invent a flying car, and it seems this may have been a throwback to that. A scene with the Fantasticar is obviously a huge set piece, leaving us to wonder why on Earth they would scrap it. Of course, that's just one of many unanswered questions...

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Fantastic Four stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as The Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as The Human Torch, Jamie Bell as The Thing, and Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev/Doctor Doom. Directed by Josh Trank and written by Simon Kinberg, Fantastic Four is now playing in theaters worldwide! What do you guys think about this latest look at the movie? Sound off below!

For years before everything went online, the old Roger Corman Fantastic Four was a kind of urban legend,

now the Trank-cut will occupy that same space

They cut out some of the best scenes from the trailer!

This is great I think I'm going to buy this for nostalgia at least it was fun to watch at the time.

Can't beat the price for ten bucks.

The car would've been cool.
I didn't like all the scenes of the team flying around in Sue's force field, it was so corny.
And by Kate Mara's awful wig you can tell that the Fox-requested reshoots and changes were the worst parts and Trank's original filming was actually something special.

See! That scene with Sue and Johnny, looked like it could've been a pretty poignant scene that displays a natural sibling connection and show Sue nurturing side, was in the trailer but excluded from the final product.

Saw Fantastic Sunday with only 7 other people in the theater with me and my 2 friends.

*Possible Spoilers*

Movie starts out ok , slow but ok and the tone is very Trank/Chronicle-ish with dysfunctional family stuff with each member of the FF then after all the characters are introduced they spend a lot of time trying to build a relationship between the characters which never feels like the group actually gets emotionally involved with each other. Then after they get their powers and the best part of the movie when Doom leaves the base the movie just goes from serious drama to let's wrap this movie up... End felt like the end of the other fantastic fours... Goofy monologue from villain while team members say catch phrases while attacking one at a time, Reed's "he might be stronger than each of us but not all of us" line and then they attack as a team. Then Leave everything open for a sequel. No After Credit Scene Either.

It's got cool parts but overall never climaxs or maybe the climax was too quick like me with a hot chick. And the story and action could've worked with a better group interaction and better finale. You can tell they didn't want to make a movie that was going to be hard to top.
Ill give a more Spoilerish review when I have time on my lunch break, but....

Better than Green Lantern, Superman Returns, Cat Woman... I thought TASM2, Xmen Origins Wolverine and X3 were better than this movie. I think every Marvel Studios movie (even IM2 and IM3) and the Nolan Batmans crap on this movie. lol.
Its bout as entertaining as the first Fantastic Four movie. 3 out of 10.
I say 3 because they made Doom into a BadAss when you first see him and then he becomes a cartoon villain in the final fight. Kind of sad.

OVERALL... Not Worst Comic Book Movie of All Time... but far from a good movie.

Watch the bootleg for the Doom scene..

@JoshWilding There is no need to use a modifier with the word "unique." Something is either unique or not unique.

You can tell that there was no bad blood between Trank and the actors.
Maybe they aren't good friends, but you can see that they are all taking it seriously. Even though this isn't all the B-Roll footage, there might be some bad moments which they would obviously keep from the audience, but you can always tell even in the good footage if people hate each other.

@slickrickdesigns - You gave the movie a 3 out of 10 how is that not justified as "Not Worst Comic Book Movie of All Time".

When Electra beats it by 10% on RT?
