FANTASTIC FOUR B-Roll Footage Includes More Unseen Scenes Including...The Fantasticar?!
Surprisingly, Fox has released B-Roll footage for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot which includes even more scenes which didn't make the final cut. One even sees the team assemble at Reed's house and board what looks like a prototype version of the Fantasticar...
It's rare that B-Roll footage offers up a glimpse at scenes which didn't make the final cut, but that was pretty much an inevitability with a movie as butchered in the editing room as Fantastic Four. There are lots of moments below which definitely weren't in the final cut, but perhaps the most interesting is a scene which depicts the team getting into a very unique looking car. Before that, we also see them in the Negative Zone crawling out of it after a bumpy landing. You may recall that the young Reed Richards talked about trying to invent a flying car, and it seems this may have been a throwback to that. A scene with the Fantasticar is obviously a huge set piece, leaving us to wonder why on Earth they would scrap it. Of course, that's just one of many unanswered questions...
