ARROW's Stephen Amell WILL Wrestle At SUMMERSLAM; Check Out His RAW Appearance Here

Stephen Amell appeared on tonight's WWE Raw and gave his social media enemy Stardust a beatdown on live TV! Following that, the Arrow star's match at SummerSlam in Brooklyn has been confirmed, and you can check out all the details and highlights after the jump...

It's been rumoured for months, but WWE fan and Arrow star Stephen Amell is going to get the chance to make one of his dreams come true when he teams up with Neville to take on Stardust and King Barrett at SummerSlam in a couple of weeks time. The actor made an appearance on tonight's episode of Raw, and after being shoved in the face by Stardust (who he's been feuding with on social media for some time now), Amell jumped the barricade, leapt into the ring, and gave the WWE Superstar a surprising beatdown! He may not be a wrestler, but he looked like one here! 

Following that confrontation, a backstage segment aired which saw Amell talk Triple H into giving him the aforementioned match at the event which will take place on August 23rd in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It's going to be very interesting to see how this plays out; will Amell don his new Green Arrow costume for example? I think this is pretty damn cool. I really havent watched wrestling in ages but hell it would be awesome if something like this happened way back then.

I've been trying to pin down Amell's acting style for ages and this is it, he's a wrastler. Arrow is like all the non wrastling segments rolled into one 42 minute episode.

My buddy and I drove down to Everett today for RAW (just got in), and this segment was very cool to see live. Crowd popped huge for it. A tag match is a good way to go with this as Amell can have limited time in the ring, just enough to get some good shots in and keep the crowd happy. Should be fun if they book it right & Amell learns to properly execute a few moves.
