Potentially Major 'Bebop' and 'Rocksteady' SPOILER For TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2

In the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, Gary Anthony Williams is playing Bebop and WWE Superstar Sheamus will star as Rocksteady. Are they going to end up transforming into their mutated selves though? Well, you can find out after the jump, but beware of spoilers...

As expected, we are indeed going to see the mutated versions of Bebop and Rocksteady in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Now you may remember that former WWE Superstar CM Punk was at one point being considered for the role, but lost out on it to his former colleague Sheamus (which had to sting given the in training UFC star's feelings towards the company). In a recent interview with The Chicago Tribune, Punk revealed why he believes he missed out on the role and dropped a major spoiler about what happens in the movie. "I just assumed Sheamus is a bigger dude, so they gave it to the big guy. It makes sense. They were looking for two big, muscly bouncer types. Sheamus fits the role," he said. "I think they end up getting mutated half way through. You didn’t hear that from me, though." While we assumed that this would be the case, we now know for sure that it's going to happen! Are you guys looking forward to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2?

Didn't mind the first one, they at least got the personalities of all the turtles spot on. But how is this a spoiler? Did anyone think we were gonna be looking at Sheamus' mug for the whole movie?

You know, as much as I was disgusted by the first movie, I'm going to tone down the hate for this one. Not because I expect it to suck any less, but because I have to realize its for children. Its for kids, and for people that don't care about plot, writing, THEIR childhood memories, and quality. And therefore I don't have to see it if I don't want to.
That being said, I have a son on the way and I definitely will try to educate him on what makes a movie good compared to schlock. I don't want him joining the mass movie going audience that laps up sub-par quality

@fettastic Its a good point. There is a line between steering, and mocking. I can definitely mock on here, because everyone is old enough to know better lol But would I put down my kid? No. I'd have to find a way to teach him appreciation for better quality stuff w/out mocking, etc. Tough to do, kids are 'wow'd' by flashes of color and images haha

A dark skinned black dude mutates into a light pink skinned pig-man.... Wouldn't it have made more sense for the token black to be Rocksteady? His skin is already grey. Grey is closer to black than pink is to black, imo.

@Pathogen - and don't give up. I have two girls. The oldest could care less about CBMs, Star Wars, Princess Bride, etc. my youngest? At first seemed like she was going to be the same, but then at about 8, right after seeming Avengers and loving it, she said, "I think I want to give Star Wars another shot."

She loves them now (even JarJar, but again, she was 8). Loves Princess Bride, BTTF, and we have the Indy trilogy up next!

@iSRS Nice! 1 outta 2 ain't bad. The wife, God bless her, just had a birthday on monday. She took off work because all she wanted for her birthday was to watch the Trilogy, have ice cream, and cuddle. So we were also looking at Star Wars nursery themes, but I think we'll wait until the kid is a bit older
